Masons Apron Ale February 18th 2023
A big thank you to all our guests who made it such a fun evening.

May Day Weekend at Upton Upon Severn

The May Day bank holiday saw Masons Apron join with 40 other sides to dance around Upton upon Severn. We circled the wagons (or caravans) with all the other sides, at the rugby ground and enjoyed the great atmosphere and hospitality of Upton.

Who Are We

Dancing Out with Owlswick and Wolvercote at The Boat, Thrupp

At The Invitation of Headington Quarry

A lovely evening with Headington Quarry back in Masons Apron's birthplace by the Masons Arms, and also in memory of John Graham a dancer and musician for years with Headington Quarry and also our first musician back in 1981 when MA was formed. One of our dancers, Elsie, began back then, and our foreman of the dance, Liz, started just six months later. A lovely evening, with wonderful food and music.

Another Lovely Evening at The Bell

Masons joined Ducklington Morris for another lovely evening and despite the less than summery weather, the show goes on!

Mitcheldean Folk Festival Weekend

Another jolly weekend at the Mitcheldean Folk Festival. Pouring rain all day Friday did not deter the intrepid Masons, and better weather on Saturday saw us dancing, playing and singing. Well done Andy on organising a great day!

Last Summer Dance Out at the George and Dragon, Long Hanborough

Our last summer dance out with the fantastic Cornucopia proved to be a wonderful evening of dance, with Masons Apron doing themselves proud!

Couldn't resist a couple of last September dance outs, at the Oxfordshire Yeoman in Freeland with Charlbury and Finstock, and the Masons Arms in North Leigh

Masons Step it Out for Witney in Pink

Saturday 30th September saw Masons Apron dancing for Witney's brilliant breast cancer awareness day.

The 2023 Jolly in Weymouth

Masons went to Weymouth for their annual 'Jolly' and what a great time we had - dancing, singing and enjoying the wonderful hospitality of the Royal Hotel. Saturday saw us dancing with the lovely Frome Valley Morris. Rain meant that we started off in the hotel's ballroom, but soon we were out dancing around Weymouth. Evenings were spent holding sessions at the hotel. On Sunday we danced again at the Nothe Fort. As Halloween was approaching, we dressed appropriately.

Masons Apron Xmas Dance Out at Long Hanborough Methodist Church

Long Hanborough Methodist church, with its beautifully bedecked church, lit up by the many Christmas trees donated by local groups, hosted Masons Apron. The community cafe served their usual wonderful fare and carols and tunes were played. Lovely!
